How We Work With Contractors

A structured approach from online visibility to booked projects — Build, Rank, Convert, and a clear four-step engagement from strategy through ongoing growth.

We don't sell disconnected marketing services. We build a foundation that helps homeowners find you, evaluate your work, and reach out — then support the follow-through that turns those inquiries into signed work.

What the system does

Build → Rank → Convert

Three complementary capabilities that work together — not three separate products.

Establish the foundation

Build

A contractor website structured around your real services and service areas — service pages, project portfolios, reviews, and clear paths to call, book, or inquire. It's designed to help homeowners find you, evaluate your work, and take the next step.

  • Service and service-area pages
  • Project portfolios with real completed work
  • Customer reviews and credibility elements
  • Contact forms, lead capture, and missed-call text-back
Help more homeowners find you

Rank

The foundation connects to Google's local search ecosystem — your Business Profile, Maps positioning, reviews, and eligible Local Services Ads. We distinguish Maps visibility, organic website visibility, and paid ads rather than treating them as one thing.

  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Local Services Ads setup where eligible
  • Business listings synchronization
  • Local market demand analysis
Turn inquiries into opportunities

Convert

Inquiry forms, clear calling and booking options, missed-call text-back, and basic communication automations help capture inquiries and support timely responses. Generating the inquiry is only the start — you still answer, estimate, and close the work.

  • Website inquiry forms
  • Clear calling and booking opportunities
  • Missed-call text-back
  • Basic lead capture and communication automations
What working with us looks like

A clear four-step engagement

Real activities and milestones — not generic agency phases.

1
Step 1

Strategy & market assessment

We learn about your business, the projects you want more of, your target markets, and your current online presence.

  • Which projects and services you want more of
  • A review of your website and Google visibility
  • Local search demand and target service areas
  • Gaps in credibility, lead capture, and responsiveness
2
Step 2

Build your foundation

We build the agreed digital infrastructure so the pieces work together rather than operating as disconnected tools.

  • Website, service and service-area pages
  • Project portfolio and credibility content
  • Google Business Profile optimization
  • Review requests, listings sync, lead capture, and eligible LSA setup
3
Step 3

Launch, verify & measure

Once components are ready, we verify the system is functioning and establish visibility into available calls, forms, and inquiries.

  • Launch the website and approved pages
  • Confirm inquiry forms and lead-capture functionality
  • Verify Google connections and tracking
  • Review Business Profile and LSA component status
4
Step 4

Strengthen & grow

After the foundation is established, you can choose additional services based on your goals — these are optional and separately scoped.

  • Ongoing LSA management
  • Local SEO for priority services
  • Expanding visibility into additional towns
  • Advanced sales conversion and follow-up systems
Shared responsibility

Your role vs. our role

The marketing system creates opportunities. You remain responsible for responding, estimating, and closing the work.

What the contractor provides

  • Assign someone to answer incoming calls and own lead follow-up

  • Support review requests to eligible customers regardless of sentiment
  • Provide accurate booking or signed-contract information when available

Implementation timeline

A realistic 60–90 day foundation

The full foundation typically takes about 60–90 days, depending on access, materials, approvals, and Google's verification processes.

Days 1–7

Onboarding & access

Access collection, business details, and a local market demand review so the build is focused on the projects you actually want.

Days 7–30

Website build

Service pages, service-area pages, portfolio, contact options, forms, and lead capture come together.

Days 14–45

Google, listings & reviews

Business Profile optimization, listings sync, and review-request automation are configured in parallel with the build.

Days 60–90

System live & tracked

LSA verification runs in parallel; the full foundation goes live with tracking in place.

Advanced capability — separately scoped

The Contractor Sales Conversion System

The lead is only the start. Homeowners evaluate multiple contractors before signing. This advanced system helps you communicate useful information at the right stage — for contractors already using a structured sales process and compatible software.

The homeowner journey

Inquiry

Confirmation messages, company introduction, and information about what happens next.

Consultation scheduled

Appointment confirmation, preparation information, relevant project examples, and reminders.

Consultation completed

Thank-you communication, next-step expectations, and helpful proof addressing homeowner concerns.

Estimate sent

Estimate notification, explanation of the proposal, relevant project evidence, and guidance for comparing estimates.

Signed contract

Welcome information, project preparation, and communication about next steps.

Estimate follow-up example

When supported by your system, a sequence may unfold like this:

  • Day 0Estimate notification and explanation of next steps.
  • Day 3A relevant completed-project case study.
  • Day 6Guidance for comparing estimates beyond price alone.
  • Day 12An invitation to review the proposal and ask questions.

Safeguards stop follow-up after an estimate is accepted or declined, and avoid restarting the sequence for revised estimates. This illustrates a possible configuration, not a universal deliverable.

Addressing homeowner concerns

The system uses your real processes, projects, and educational content to answer the questions homeowners are weighing:

Will the project stay within budget? How are change orders handled? What happens if the schedule changes?Who performs the work? How does communication work? What happens if problems arise?

Measuring sales performance

When reliable data is available, reporting can show where opportunities are being lost between inquiry and signed contract:

Qualified leadsConsultation booking rateConsultation completion rateEstimate delivery rateEstimate acceptance rateLead-to-contract conversion rateSigned contract valueSigned value attributed to marketing sources

Integrations require individual compatibility and access assessment. Automatic synchronization isn't guaranteed for every platform. This service strengthens existing operations — it doesn't replace your project-management software. Available capabilities depend on technical feasibility, data quality, and agreed scope.

Real client example

Why lead handling and follow-through matter

$553Kin additional booked projects over 12 months

A Houston remodeler

A Google-first marketing foundation, paired with the contractor's own operating practices — a dedicated office administrator, JobTread for estimating and project management, Setmore for scheduling, and a 24/7 answering service.

These client-side tools and processes complement the marketing system; they were not supplied or managed by Notably Bravo. The $553K reflects broader marketing and client-side follow-through, not a specific automation's effectiveness.

Frequently asked

Common questions about working together

Is Build → Rank → Convert the same as the four engagement steps?+

No. Build → Rank → Convert describes what the system does — the three capabilities behind our approach. The four steps describe what working with us actually looks like, from the first strategy call through ongoing growth. They're two separate concepts we keep distinct so you always know which one we're talking about.

How long does the foundation take?+

The full Contractor Boost foundation typically takes about 60–90 days from onboarding through complete implementation. That depends on how quickly access, materials, and approvals are provided, and on Google's own verification queues for things like Local Services Ads. It's a process estimate, not a fixed promise — and not every website takes 90 days to develop.

What do I need to provide?+

Business documentation (insurance, EIN/incorporation, contractor license), domain and Google profile access, project photography, and — if you want lead capture connected — information about your existing estimating or invoicing software. The faster access and assets are in place, the faster the foundation moves.

Do you guarantee Google approval or rankings?+

No. Google controls eligibility, approval, advertising placement, and ranking. We build a credible foundation and connect the pieces, but we don't guarantee specific rankings, Google approvals, lead counts, or signed contracts.

Is the advanced Sales Conversion System included in the foundation?+

No. The Sales Conversion System is a separately scoped advanced service for contractors already using a structured sales process and compatible software. It's introduced here so you can see where the foundation can grow — it is not part of every foundation build.

Do you replace my project-management software?+

No. You keep using your existing software — tools like JobTread, Projul, or Buildertrend. Where technically feasible, we may configure integrations, communication automations, and reporting around the available data. Compatibility and access are assessed individually, and automatic synchronization isn't guaranteed for every platform.

Who handles the leads once they come in?+

You do. We create the opportunities — the website, Google visibility, and lead capture. You remain responsible for answering calls, responding promptly, scheduling consultations, providing estimates, and closing work. The marketing system works best when someone on your team owns lead follow-up.
